Workplace Training

Workplace Training in meditation can reduce stress levels and improve work relationships and productivity. Sessions can be held at your workplace or other agreed venue, time and duration tailored to your needs and convenience. The most popular formats are the Introduction to Meditation Workshop and Meditation Short Courses detailed below.

Introduction to Meditation Workshop

The aim of this workshop is to enable participants to learn how to relax quickly and consciously and reduce stress using practical meditation techniques. The workshop is suitable for people who are new to meditation and the approach taken is practical, straightforward and nonreligious.

The workshop commences with a short introduction to meditation - a definition, some uses and benefits, a discussion of meditation posture, followed by a mix of longer guided meditations of about 15-25min each and short practices of 1-5min each, with time for questions and discussion at the end of each meditation. The workshop uses simple and widely-practised techniques focusing on sounds, the breath and body sensations.

The workshop can be delivered over a 1-3 hour duration in a stand-alone format or as a series to suit your needs. Books and CD sets are available for purchase as a support to practice.

Meditation Short Courses

Gain valuable skills in relaxation and stress reduction with these short weekly sessions of guided meditations. Duration 30min, 45min or 1hr to suit your needs. Each session is a stand-alone and sessions may be structured within a 6-10 week time-frame.
