Practice Groups

Meditation Unlimited meets every Friday from 7-9pm at Kundalini House Yoga Studio, Level 1/391 St Georges Rd, North Fitzroy [Melways Ref 30 C10].

Develop your meditation practice in an open, freethinking and supportive atmosphere. Will suit people wishing to deepen a genuine interest in meditation to promote relaxation, stress reduction, better health and clarity of mind.

The first session will contain two guided 20-minute meditations, drawn from a rich and diverse range. The second self-guided session of 30-40 minutes will suit more experienced meditators. At the end of each meditation, participants will have the opportunity to share their experience, commenting on what they observed physically, mentally and emotionally during the process.

Each one-hour session is self-contained and participants may choose to attend one or both. Attendance is on a casual or drop-in basis.

7-8pm All welcome $15/$12 concession;
8-9pm For more experienced meditators $6/$5 concession

Some chairs will be available. Feel free to bring your own meditation cushion/bench.

Please note that there will be no Meditation Unlimited session on Friday May 29, because of the clash with the public talk being given by Jason Siff at the Northcote Town Hall that night.

Simply Silence Northcote meets on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 7.30 - 8.30pm at Northcote Town Hall, 189 High St, Northcote [Melways Ref 30 E9].

Simply Silence Elwood meets on the second and fourth Mondays of the month from 7.30 - 8.30pm at Elwood Centre for Wellbeing, Suite 1B, 41 Glenhuntly Rd, Elwood [Melways Ref 67 B3].

Simply Silence Melbourne CBD meets every Wednesday. Session One from 5.30 - 6.30pm. Session Two from 6.45 - 7.45pm. Venue: Bourke Street Meditation Centre, Suite 2B, 190 Bourke Street, Melbourne CBD [Melways Ref 1B Q5]. Please note: Melbourne CBD sessions commence May 27.

Simply Silence is a not-for-profit group initiated by a Melbourne cardiologist, offering guided meditations facilitated by a range of experienced meditation teachers for relaxation, better health and clarity of mind using a non-religious, non-denominational approach.
