Private Sessions for individuals and small groups
Private Sessions can be held at your home, workplace or other agreed venue for people who would prefer to learn meditation on a one-to-one basis. Private classes for groups can also be arranged.
If you’re new to meditation, I would usually recommend a first session of 90 minutes, followed by another one or two sessions of one hour, a week or two apart. In the first session we would talk about what you’d like to achieve from the sessions and some of the theory of meditation and basics such as meditation posture before we do our first guided meditation. We would then do two guided meditations of 15-20 minutes, followed by time for questions and discussion.
For meditation to be most effective, it needs to be practised regularly, so the sessions are spaced a week or two apart to allow you the chance to practise on your own and then report back with your observations and any questions. After two or three sessions, you’ll have a good foundation in meditation practice and be able to meditate confidently on your own.
